We believe that one of the reasons SCHAD’s enterprise mobility systems are so successful is because as a company, we really understand process automation. Our management team are all experts in the field, having worked for many years in industry. We have first hand experience of manufacturing, logistics, retail, transport, oil and gas, bringing this knowledge to create powerful enterprise mobility solutions that add immediate value to the organisations that implement them.

Christian Schad, Founder and CEO

Christian is an expert in mobile data communication. He began his career in management consulting with Ernst & Young in Toronto where he was involved with the launch of BAAN (an ERP system). During his time with Ernst & Young he gained important experience working with industrial automation and engineering systems. Following this, he founded his own consultancy firm, BFI Beratungsgesellschaft, offering bespoke services to clients seeking expertise in IT and automation technology. Christian is a graduate in International Business Studies from the ISM International School of Management.

James Hannay, Senior VP International

James is a senior business leader with proven international operational management experience in guiding organisations to achieve rapid profitable growth through the delivery of software and professional services. Regarded as an incisive and commercially astute business leader, with an exceptional understanding of how to work with organisations to realise mutual shared objectives, he adds significant value in working to construct workable solutions. James has extensive expertise in supply chain optimisation and mobile technology. He has held a variety of senior regional and country Director level positions including Sales and Operations Director, Country Managing Director and Senior Vice President, all with full P&L responsibility.

Jörn Woywat, CFO

Responsible for all things financial, Jörn Woywat is a veteran financial director with 16 years experience working with fast growth technology and software companies. Prior to joining SCHAD in 2011 he was VP of Finance for a number of mid sized international high tech companies including Acrolinx, SWYX Solutions, ASDIS and Sydios IT. Jörn is a graduate in business administration from Göttingen University.

Jan Brinkkötter, Head of Product Development

Jan Brinkkötter is responsible for product development and project management. He is a team manager with 12 years experience in software development for industrial applications – mainly in the sector of automated x-ray systems. Brinkkötter worked for ITWH GmbH and Yxlon International GmbH before joining SCHAD. He is a University of Paderborn graduate in Computer Sciences and Mathematics.

Christian Lenz, Senior Vice President Product Management

As Senior Vice President of Product Management, Christian has extensive experience in automation technology specialized in production and logistics. He is a graduate of electrical engineering and has been with the company since its beginnings.
